Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-06-05.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between Bangsoft (Private) Limited ("Bangsoft", "iHustle", "we", "us", "our") and you, the user of the Services described below. By creating an iHustle account or using any iHustle feature, you accept these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully before using iHustle. Pay particular attention to the clauses on prohibited activities, fees, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — they affect your rights.
1. The Services
iHustle is a reverse-bidding services marketplace. Customers post jobs they need done. Skilled workers ("Hustlers") bid to do the work. The Customer chooses the bid that suits them. The work is performed and paid for directly between the Customer and the Hustler.
iHustle provides the platform and supporting features — search, messaging, reviews, badges, optional boosts, and subscription benefits for active Hustlers. iHustle is not a party to any contract for services formed between a Customer and a Hustler, and is not the employer, agent, or partner of any Hustler.
The Services are offered on a non-exclusive basis. Bangsoft may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, with reasonable notice where the change materially reduces the Services. Day-to-day improvements, security updates, and emergency interventions may happen without notice.
2. Eligibility
To use iHustle you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence.
- Provide a valid mobile number that you control. The mobile number is your primary identifier on iHustle and must be verified by a one-time code sent by SMS.
- Comply with applicable laws and these Terms at all times.
- Not be a person with whom we are prohibited from doing business under any sanctions list applicable to Bangsoft.
If you use iHustle on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation and that the organisation also agrees to these Terms.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account, including all activity that occurs on it. You must:
- Keep your mobile number, profile information, and any payment details accurate and up to date.
- Keep one-time codes and any account credentials confidential; never share them with anyone, including iHustle staff.
- Notify us immediately at support@ihustleapp.com if you suspect that your account has been compromised.
We may require you to provide additional information — for example, government-issued identification or proof of address — to verify your identity, comply with legal obligations, or maintain a verification badge. If you do not provide that information, we may suspend or close your account.
4. Posting jobs (Customers)
When you post a job on iHustle you commit to:
- Describing the work, location, and timing accurately and in good faith.
- Engaging the Hustler you select and paying the agreed price directly to that Hustler in the manner agreed between you.
- Treating Hustlers with respect, honouring confirmed appointments, and providing reasonable access to the worksite.
- Leaving honest reviews based on the work performed.
iHustle does not guarantee that any job will receive bids, that any bid will reflect the actual cost of the work, or that any specific Hustler will accept your job.
5. Placing bids (Hustlers)
When you place a bid on iHustle you commit to:
- Bidding only on work you are capable of performing and legally entitled to perform in your country of operation.
- Holding any licences, certifications, or permits required for the work (for example, for electrical or gas work) and complying with applicable health, safety, and environmental rules.
- Honouring the price and scope you bid, subject to legitimate changes in the work agreed with the Customer in writing through the in-app chat.
- Treating Customers with respect, arriving on time, and completing the work to a reasonable standard.
- Settling any tax, social-contribution, or licensing obligations arising from your work — Hustlers are independent service providers, not employees of iHustle.
iHustle does not guarantee any volume of work, any minimum income, or any specific Customer relationship.
6. Bid leads, subscriptions, and boosts
Hustlers may bid on iHustle in either of two ways:
- On a metered basis, using "lead credits" purchased from iHustle. A lead credit is consumed when you place a bid on a job. You may receive a small number of free lead credits each month at iHustle's discretion.
- On an unlimited basis, through a paid subscription (currently "Hustler Pro"). Active subscribers may place unlimited bids and access subscriber benefits such as priority placement and discounted boosts.
Subscriptions renew automatically on the cadence and at the price shown at the point of purchase, unless you cancel before the next renewal. You may cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Lead credits expire 12 months after purchase if unused.
"Boosts" and "Badges" are optional paid features that affect the visibility of your bid or profile. The current catalogue of boosts and badges, with prices, is shown in the app and on ihustleapp.com/pricing. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.
iHustle does not charge Customers a fee for posting jobs and does not take a commission on the agreed price of the work.
7. Fees, payment, and refunds
Subscription and credit prices are stated in United States Dollars at the point of purchase and may be billed in local currency at the prevailing exchange rate of the payment partner. You authorise iHustle and its payment partners to charge the payment method on file for subscriptions, lead credits, boosts, badges, and any taxes due.
Refunds:
- Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, except where required by law or in the case of a billing error.
- Unused lead credits are non-refundable and non-transferable on account closure.
- Boost and badge fees are non-refundable once the boost is activated or the badge is granted.
Where iHustle adjusts a price, the change is announced in the app at least 30 days in advance and applies only to renewals and new purchases occurring after the effective date.
8. Reviews and reputation
Reviews are central to iHustle. You may leave a review only for a job you actually participated in. Reviews must be honest, lawful, and free of harassment, defamation, hate speech, or personal data of third parties. Solicited, fake, retaliatory, or paid reviews are prohibited and may result in removal of the review and suspension of the account.
iHustle reserves the right to moderate, remove, or contextualise reviews that violate these Terms.
9. Prohibited activities
You may not use iHustle to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Offer, request, or negotiate any service that is unlawful in the country in which the work is to be performed, including unlicensed electrical, plumbing, medical, legal, or financial work.
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, or any other financial crime.
- Impersonate any person or organisation, misrepresent your skills, certifications, or affiliation, or provide false identity documents.
- Use iHustle to harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any user on any prohibited ground.
- Circumvent the platform — for example, by offering off-platform deals to avoid lead credits, evading suspension, or moving disputes off iHustle to retaliate.
- Scrape, harvest, copy, or otherwise extract data from iHustle except through interfaces we authorise.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any part of the Services.
- Introduce viruses, worms, or other malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to iHustle systems or other users' accounts.
- Use iHustle to facilitate firearms, illegal weapons, drugs, prescription medication, pornography, gambling, multi-level marketing, or any other category that we identify in the in-app prohibited-activities guide.
We may add, refine, or clarify the prohibited-activities guide from time to time. Continued use of iHustle after a clarification means you accept the change.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to iHustle, in whole or in part, in our reasonable discretion, including where:
- You violate these Terms or any other published policy.
- You provide false or misleading information.
- We are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.
- Your account presents an unacceptable risk of fraud, security compromise, or harm to other users.
- You have not used the Services for an extended period.
Where we suspend or terminate an account we will, where practicable and lawful, notify you and give you an opportunity to respond. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred before the date of termination, including unpaid fees and outstanding disputes.
You may terminate your account at any time from Settings (see the Account deletion section of the Privacy Policy for the details and consequences).
11. Disputes between Customers and Hustlers
iHustle is not a party to any service contract between a Customer and a Hustler. Where a disagreement arises, you should first try to resolve it directly with the other party using the in-app chat.
If you cannot resolve the matter, you may raise a formal report through the in-app dispute flow. iHustle may, at its discretion, investigate, suspend the accounts of users involved, remove content, and adjust ratings and badges. iHustle does not act as an arbitrator and does not undertake to refund or compensate either party for losses arising from the underlying service contract.
12. Intellectual property
The iHustle name, logo, software, and all related materials are owned by Bangsoft and protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services in accordance with these Terms. We grant no other rights.
You retain ownership of the content you submit — job descriptions, photographs, messages, reviews, and so on. By submitting content you grant Bangsoft a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, copy, display, and use that content to operate and improve the Services, including for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and the training of automated moderation systems.
13. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, iHustle disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
iHustle does not warrant the truthfulness, accuracy, or completeness of any user-generated content, including profiles, bids, reviews, photographs, or messages. iHustle does not warrant the qualifications, certifications, or conduct of any Customer or Hustler. Verification badges indicate that we have reviewed certain documents at a point in time; they are not a guarantee of present qualification, identity, or behaviour.
You use iHustle at your own risk and are responsible for evaluating the suitability of any Customer or Hustler before entering into a contract with them.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bangsoft, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Services, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bangsoft's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you have paid to iHustle in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) one hundred United States Dollars (USD 100).
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bangsoft, its affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Services in breach of these Terms; (b) any service you provide or receive in connection with iHustle; (c) any content you submit; and (d) any violation of applicable law or third-party rights by you.
16. Notices and electronic communications
You agree to receive notices from iHustle electronically — by in-app message, push notification, SMS to the mobile number on file, or email to the address on file. Operational notices (including security alerts, billing notices, and changes to these Terms) cannot be opted out of for as long as you have an active account.
You may give notice to iHustle by email at support@ihustleapp.com or by writing to Bangsoft (Private) Limited, Harare, Zimbabwe.
17. Confidentiality
Each party shall keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by the other in connection with the Services. The duty of confidentiality does not apply to information that becomes public other than through breach of these Terms, that is independently developed by the receiving party, or that is required to be disclosed by law or competent authority.
18. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Where you reside in another country in which iHustle is offered, mandatory consumer-protection laws of that country also apply.
Before commencing any legal proceeding you agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by contacting support@ihustleapp.com and giving us at least thirty (30) days to respond. The courts of Harare, Zimbabwe shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved informally.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will publish material changes through the app and the website at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using iHustle and may close your account.
20. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policy referenced from within the Services, form the entire agreement between you and Bangsoft in relation to iHustle. If any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor in connection with a corporate transaction. Headings are for convenience only.
These Terms replace and supersede any prior version.
